Ljs Studios had the pleasure of capturing Silk and Steel’s latest campaign, where the creative direction was all about embracing golden hues to evoke the warmth and connection to the sun. The concept centered on the idea of sunlight as a metaphor for both energy and timeless elegance, which we wanted to reflect in every shot. From the soft glow of early morning light to the rich amber tones of sunset, we played with controlled studio light to encapsulate those fleeting, nostalgic moments that feel almost like memories. The collection itself, with its luxurious jewellery and refined details, mirrored this relationship to the sun—its warmth, its softness, and its ability to cast everything in a beautiful, golden glow. Each frame was carefully crafted to highlight not just the designs, but the emotion they carried, creating a visual story that felt as warm and inviting as the sun itself. Through careful lighting, styling, and composition, we were able to draw out a sense of timeless beauty and tranquility, allowing the campaign to radiate a sense of both elegance and nostalgia.
